- Take a moment to reflect on your understanding of agroecology.
- To yourself, use “agroecology” in a sentence. It is ok if the sentence starts, “Agroecology is…”
- Find a neighbor and try out your sentence.
- Let your neighbor respond. Was “agroecology” used properly?
- Give your neighbor a chance to try his/her sentence.

- Find a small group of 3-4 people that share a similar area of work with you.
- List some ways that agroecology is related to your area of work.
- List some areas that your work is outside of agroecology
- Return to the larger group to report your answers to 2 & 3.
