Activities

1. -- Use the Term --

   1. Take a moment to reflect on your understanding of agroecology.
   2. To yourself, use “agroecology” in a sentence. It is ok if the sentence starts, “Agroecology is…”
   3. Find a neighbor and try out your sentence.
   4. Let your neighbor respond. Was “agroecology” used properly?
   5. Give your neighbor a chance to try his/her sentence.

2. -- What is Not Agroecology --

   1. Find a small group of 3-4 people that share a similar area of work with you.
   2. List some ways that agroecology is related to your area of work.
   3. List some areas that your work is outside of agroecology
   4. Return to the larger group to report your answers to 2 & 3.
